Terms of Service
Last updated October 24, 2026
The short version:
- Fun Factory is for grown-ups. You supervise every activity.
- Try 3 activities free. A subscription opens the full library.
- The subscription renews through Apple until you cancel in your App Store settings.
- Read each activity’s safety notes before you start.
These terms are an agreement between you and Fun Factory (“we”, “us”) for using the Fun Factory app and this website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Fun Factory
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. The account is for the parent or caregiver. Children may take part in activities with you, but they may not create or use an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for everything done with your account.
2. Activities and safety
Fun Factory offers ideas for activities, crafts, and games. Every activity lists an age range, how much supervision it needs, material and small-part warnings, and how messy it gets. These notes are a guide, not a guarantee.
- You decide whether an activity is right for your child and your space. You know your child best, including allergies, sensitivities, and abilities.
- An adult must supervise every activity at the level the activity describes, or more closely.
- Check materials before you start. Keep small parts, sharp tools, and anything that could be swallowed away from young children.
- Stop any activity that becomes unsafe.
Fun Factory is for fun and family time. It does not provide medical, developmental, therapeutic, or educational advice, and we make no claims about developmental or learning outcomes.
3. Free features, free trials, and subscriptions
With a free account, you can try 3 activities. A monthly or yearly subscription opens the full library of 2,500+ activities. The price is shown in the app before you buy, and billing runs through the App Store.
- Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged the price shown when you started the trial. Each Apple ID can use the introductory trial once.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
- Cancel anytime. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), or from You → Subscription in the app. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Price changes. If the price changes, Apple will notify you in advance as its rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
- One household. A subscription is attached to one Fun Factory account and household. Deleting your Fun Factory account does not cancel your Apple subscription.
4. Your content
The information you add, such as kids’ ages and interests, saved activities, and your history, stays yours. You give us permission to store and use it only to run the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and this data at any time in the app.
5. Our content
The activities, photographs, text, design, and software in the Service belong to Fun Factory or our licensors. With an active account, you may use them for personal, non-commercial use with your family. Please do not copy, resell, republish, or scrape the library, or use it to train other products.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in a way that breaks the law or puts a child at risk.
- Share your account outside your household or resell access.
- Try to break, overload, reverse engineer, or get around the Service’s security.
- Use bots or automated tools to access or copy the Service.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
7. Changes and availability
We keep improving Fun Factory, so features and activities may change, and we may add, update, or remove activities. We may also suspend or stop the Service. If we make a change to these terms that materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that every activity will suit every child, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Fun Factory is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injury, loss, or damage that results from doing an activity without appropriate supervision or precautions. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app under You → Account → Delete account. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms. The sections on our content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law continue to apply after your account ends.
11. Apple
If you downloaded the app from Apple’s App Store, the following also applies:
- These terms are between you and Fun Factory, not Apple. Fun Factory, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
- Your license to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store usage rules.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Fun Factory, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and intellectual property claims.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Fun Factory is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
