What is Fun Factory?
Fun Factory is an iPhone app that helps parents, grandparents, and caregivers find activities, crafts, and games for kids from newborn to 12, matched to their ages, your time, your mess limit, and where you are. The library has more than 2,500 activities, with new ones every week and the supplies and safety notes up front. Try 3 activities free. A subscription, with a 7-day free trial billed through the App Store, opens the full library. No ads, no kids’ accounts, and no chat. Coming soon to iPhone.
How is Fun Factory different from searching Pinterest?
Pinterest gives you a thousand ideas and leaves the sorting to you. Fun Factory matches activities to your kid’s age, the time you have, and how much mess you’re up for, with the supplies and safety notes right up front.
Where do these work?
At home, in the backyard, on the sidewalk, at a park, at a friend’s home, at a restaurant or bar, on the go, at the beach or pool, on a trail, in a hotel or rental, or on a travel day. The same activity can fit more than one place. It can also fit a moment: while you cook, after school, stuck inside, quiet time, or a sick day.
What ages is it for?
Newborn to 12. You enter each kid’s age in years and months, so a 3-year-old gets ideas for a 3-year-old, not a vague “toddlers” bucket.
Do my kids need an account?
No. The account is yours. You add each kid’s age and what they’re into. Kids never sign in, and we never ask for their names or photos.
What will I need at home?
Mostly what you already have: cardboard boxes, tape, paper, crayons, a bucket. Every activity lists its supplies before the first step, and you can filter for no-prep ideas.
Is Fun Factory free?
Yes, you can try 3 activities free. To unlock all 2,500+ (with new ones every week), start a 7-day free trial in the app. You can cancel anytime in your App Store settings.
How do you handle safety?
Every activity lists its age range, who needs to watch, small-part and material warnings, and how messy it gets. Safety notes are always shown in full, never tucked behind a tap.
Are new activities added?
Yes. The library already has more than 2,500 activities, and new ones are added every week.
Is my family’s information private?
We only collect what the app needs to match activities: your sign-in, each kid’s age, and your survey answers. We don’t sell data and there are no ads. Read the Privacy Policy.
